Experienced Journeymen and Master Electricians*

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform service calls to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in residential, agricultural or commercial buildings

  • Communicate with customers on work being completed

  • Complete daily work order entry regarding completed service calls by using a tablet

  • Assist and mentor apprentices daily

  • On call for one weekend that rotates through all field employees–ability to switch designated weekend if needed

Employment Requirements

  • Licensed with the State NDEB or ability to obtain active license prior to start

  • Licensed in Minnesota, not required but preferred

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and verbal/written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to different environments daily

  • Must be able to read technical diagrams and blueprints

  • Able to instruct and inform others working under him/her

  • Valid drivers license preferred

  • This position requires standing/walking, bending, stooping, twisting while working either indoors or outdoors

  • Attention to safety detail
